Anthropic announced Claude Duet, an agent that monitors connected applications, identifies relevant work, prepares briefings and continues tasks while users are offline. Background checks also consume subscription usage allowances. Anthropic says approval is requested before sensitive actions including messages, payments and signing documents.
Availability is a waitlisted research preview, initially for US Pro and Max users, not general availability or an Italian launch. Performance and safeguards have not been independently validated.
