REPORTED DEVELOPMENT

In a Reuters interview on 26 October, Deutsche Bank's technology executive described the use of AI to accelerate certain corporate-credit decisions.

For some cases, reported times fall from weeks to minutes; for some multinational transactions, from months to weeks. The bank also uses ADA, an internal platform for governing AI agents, models and their associated risks.

The interview is direct evidence of management statements, not an independent ROI measurement. The figure exceeding €2.5 billion concerns additional technology investment planned for 2026-2028, not savings generated by AI.

WHY IT MATTERS TO THE MARKET

Decision-cycle improvements must be distinguished from independently measured economic returns and technology spending.
