REPORTED DEVELOPMENT
Ri.Circo.Lo. Filiere prioritarie 2026, under PR FESR Lombardia 2021-2027, has a €7 million budget and grants up to €1.5 million per project, depending on the aid regime. Applications close on 5 November at 16:00 Italian time.
Textile applications include fibre recovery, recycling, multicomponent-material separation and production-waste valorisation. Conditions include minimum TRL 6 for relevant technology development/manufacturing, at least €50,000 eligible expenditure excluding VAT, support up to 60% for small and 50% for medium enterprises under GBER Article 47, lower rates under Article 17, and implementation at a Lombardy operating site. The notice dates to 14 September and decree to 7 July.
WHY IT MATTERS TO THE MARKET
A specific eligible circular-economy investment is required; material innovation alone is insufficient. Company eligibility, maturity, cofinancing and overlap with other aid must be assessed.
MARKET EVIDENCE
SOURCE-LINKED INDICATORSRegional support for circular textile projects represents a prospective funding opportunity, not awarded investment.
For material recovery or industrial trials, matching eligible capex, industrial partners and co-financing requirements matters more than a nominal maximum grant.
Programme ceiling is not automatic funding, disbursement or an indication that any project has received approval.
