REPORTED DEVELOPMENT
At GTC Berlin, NVIDIA presented the OpenShell Reference Architecture combining OpenShell, Vera Rubin infrastructure, Vera processors and BlueField-4 with NVIDIA Sentry, designed to monitor and enforce controls independently of the agent.
The development beyond 28 September evidence is their integration into an infrastructure reference architecture, not the invention of OpenShell or Sentry. Current technical documentation identifies OpenShell v0.1.5; Windows support through WSL2 and Docker remains experimental. Reference-architecture availability, claimed performance and verified security are different conditions.
WHY IT MATTERS TO THE MARKET
Decision authority, operator identity, action permissions, execution controls, independent monitoring, verifiable evidence and economic outcomes are separate layers. Infrastructure compatibility, actual availability, licensing and operating costs matter alongside supplier claims.
