October CAP 0.9.8 defaults to a generic call interface rather than a separate tool for every action, with the previous mode configurable. Additions include agent.hitl, A2A tool/subagent status, OpenTelemetry for models, tools, database activity and tokens, OpenAI-compatible providers and prompt caching.
These apply to custom CAP applications, not automatic exposure of all SAP APIs. The exact October publication day is not supplied.
