REPORTED DEVELOPMENT
Databricks documentation updated on 17 October states that actor_id, used to distinguish users' memories, is not a security boundary. An identity authorised for a memory store can read and modify the content of all users within that store; effective isolation operates at memory-store level.
Automated consolidation can modify, merge or delete information previously saved explicitly by the agent, and incurs compute and model-usage costs.
WHY IT MATTERS TO THE MARKET
Operating memory, original evidence, provenance, protected owner decisions and authoritative facts must be distinguished. Derived memory may evolve without automatically altering original evidence or protected decisions.
