Freshworks announced a definitive agreement to acquire Torii, a company specialising in SaaS application management and software expenditure governance.
The proposed integration would extend Freshservice with capabilities for tracking applications, licences, identities, software utilisation and AI-related spending.
Torii's platform is designed to make consumption-based technology costs more visible, including AI token usage, allocation of spending across teams and controls over software expenditure.
The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, subject to customary conditions. The integrated product's operational availability and independently measured financial benefits have not yet been established.
