REPORTED DEVELOPMENT
On 26 October 2026, Vêtir announced two offerings: Vêtir Enterprise, integrating virtual try-on and AI personal styling for brands and retailers, and The Style Passport, an extension that allows sizing, preferences, avatars and a digital wardrobe to be used across different online stores.
Vêtir reports an average 28% increase in average order value among partners. This is not independently verified ROI: independent methodology, a baseline, causal attribution and total costs are not available.
There is also an unresolved documentary issue concerning patents. Vêtir states that it has obtained a patent but does not provide a grant number. A potentially related application, US20260038015A1, is still listed as pending in an unofficial index. It has not been established that this is the same patent.
WHY IT MATTERS TO THE MARKET
The model moves commercial intelligence from an individual e-commerce site towards a style identity usable across retailers. The market implications concern data ownership, permissions, sales attribution and luxury personalisation.
