REPORTED DEVELOPMENT

CATCHES announced PredictiveFit for multibrand retailers, naming THE OUTNET as its first user from 21 October. Unlike RealFit's brand-owned patterns, fabric specifications and development data, PredictiveFit claims to work from retailers' existing product data.

CATCHES also reported AMIRI RealFit results: seasonally adjusted conversion up 55%, add-to-cart up 80%, units sold up 39% and gross sales up 56%. Fit-related returns fell 30%, without a corresponding seasonally adjusted measure. Figures are supplier-reported observational comparisons, not an independent randomised experiment. Public sample, implementation-cost and incremental-margin information is insufficient.

WHY IT MATTERS TO THE MARKET

Manufacturer industrial-data simulation and retailer commercial-data reconstruction are distinct approaches. AMIRI offers metrics for economic testing but does not demonstrate a causal 55% uplift or verified net ROI.

The announced conversion uplift is supplier-reported and belongs to a specific implementation rather than the new product's unproven performance.

WHAT THE DATA SUGGESTS

Retail evaluation should compare matched traffic cohorts by device, channel, product category and return rate while isolating deployment and content-data requirements.

INTERPRETATION BOUNDARY

No independently accessible control design or baseline was supplied. Results from RealFit cannot simply be transferred to PredictiveFit or a different retailer.
